Appointment of new CFO

ROUTE06, Inc. (headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Takafumi Endo, hereafter: ROUTE06) has announced the appointment of Kohei Minami as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

By welcoming Minami as executive officer, who has expertise in accounting, finance, and M&A, we strive to enhance our corporate value through sincere communication with stakeholders, in addition to upgrading our business management system.

Background of the appointment

ROUTE06 is a digital transformation (DX) partner for large enterprises that strives to create new business opportunities and economic value by leveraging their existing assets. We do this by providing support from our team of digital business startup professionals and our API platform “Plain” for enterprises.

To date, we have supported the launch and growth of digital businesses of large enterprises, including Mitsubishi Corporation’s “PaSS-Portal” estimate and order-receiving platform and Whitehealthcare’s “Anata no Kusuribako” (Your Medicine Box) OTC drug and household medicine sales site.

Our newly appointed CFO Kohei Minami is a professional with experience in finance at audit firms, M&A advisory firms, and the investment division of company. Since joining ROUTE06 in 2022, in addition to finance, business development, and marketing, he also oversees corporate department such as human resources, accounting, and legal as the General Manager of Corporate Division.

Minami has contributed to the enhancement of our business management system by leading the design of the corporate decision record (CDR) internal decision system and the daily operations report (DOR) man-hour management system. Through his appointment to CFO, he will work to strengthen management accounting and corporate governance in anticipation of future enterprise business expansion, as well as to create discontinuous growth opportunities through the planning and execution of financial strategies including capital and business alliances.

I am thrilled to have been appointed Executive Officer and CFO of ROUTE06, Inc. ROUTE06 celebrated its fifth year in business in January 2024. As a DX partner that “Define the route.” to the future together with our clients, we have built up a track record of support for large enterprises by providing the API platform “Plain” and professional services. As CFO, I will contribute to ROUTE06’s medium- to long-term growth and strongly meet the expectations of our stakeholders through our mission of executing disciplined investment and financing and strengthening our corporate structure in order to realize scaled business growth and a new form as a large corporation.
